[Proline on flowering OSR] [Sclerotinia] [Alternaria] [Light Leaf Spot]
Folicur can help you to manage the crop canopy to achieve the ideal pod number during the early spring period.
Once you have the best crop canopy in place, the focus shifts to keeping the crop disease free during the pod set and pod fill period. This filling period is determined by the health of the plant during a period of approximately 45-50 days after flowering.
Duration of seed filling

source: ADAS
For crops where oil yield is particularly important, the later part (days 25-50) of pod filling is where the majority of the oil content of the seed is decided.
During this filling time all steps should be taken to maximise the health of the crop. Any loss of green tissue area on leaves, pods and stems during this time will result in loss of potential yield and oil content.
Diseases that can affect the plant health and therefore pod filling efficiency of the crop include Sclerotinia, Alternaria, Botrytis and late season Light Leaf Spot.
