Proline on winter OSR

Proline, the proven leader in wheat disease control is now in its third season of use on oilseed rape (OSR), where it has set new standards in disease control and yield benefit, giving improved margins to growers.

With rate flexibility depending on disease pressure and the best technical performance available, it gives you the ultimate in control of Phoma and Light Leaf Spot.  It's this superior performance, helping build strong roots and healthy leaves, which means Proline delivers significantly improved yields over current standards.

So whether your end market is biofuel, oil, food or feed use, Proline gives the best foundation for squeezing every last drop out of your oilseed rape crop.

5 reasons why you should use Proline on your winter OSR crop:

  1. CONSISTENTLY outperforms current azole standards for yield and margin
  2. BROAD SPECTRUM - for security & simplicity
  3. FLEXIBLE APPLICATION - choose the rate that suits your situation
  4. ONE PRODUCT, TWO KEY CROPS - reduced farm stocking
  5. ALL VARIETIES BENEFIT - see below

Varietal Risk and fungicide response

OSR variety choice is more likely to be driven by agronomic traits, such as yield potential, lodging resistance or end market, rather than disease resistance rating. Most of the popular varieties are susceptible to disease and all tend to give good yield responses to fungicide use (as shown in the table below). The few resistant cultivars need to be carefully stewarded to protect valuable genetic resource, which is best achieved using an integrated control strategy, including fungicides.
