In order to sustain weed control over the next 10 years we have to adopt more integrated control strategies to protect and optimise the existing chemistry we have. Chemical control alone is not the sustainable answer. Herbicides need to be supporting well thought out control strategies to ensure their effectiveness through appropriate use.

The Innovation section deals with the latest thinking and advice on new chemistry, boosting product performance, improving application techniques, developing mixtures and sequences, training, packaging and waste management, weed management systems, and managing conservation areas.

The Knowledge section draws on Bayer CropScience's experience of weed control within the UK, Europe and globally to improve understanding of weed populations, share industry expertise and current thinking, improve grass and broad-leaved weed management, and improve the communication and spread of information to farmers and advisors.
